Many doctors recommend Asthma patients to keep a daily journal to keep track of asthma symptoms, potential triggers, and medications. It helps doctors diagnose the cause of asthma and prescribe the most effective treatment. But, the paper and pencil based journals are hard to keep, and very difficult to sort through during the few precious minutes doctor spend with the patient in an office visit. The Asthma journal app changes that.

Each journal entry is a comphrensive questionnaire designed by doctors. The patient can fill it out in his leasure time. You can also change the date to create a journal for a day you missed.

A key part of our goal for the asthma journal app is to create a personal health dashboard for the patient. You are able to see all your journals at glance, deciper the the trends, and adjust behavior accordingly to live more healthy.

The Asthma Journal application connects your iPhone to your personal account in Google Health (go to the "Tools" tab in the app). After the connection is established, the app automatically sends newly created journal entries to your Google Health account. You can then chart the data, and share it with family / friends / doctors via Google Healths built-in visualization and sharing features.

Finally, our app also provides you the latest news on Asthma research, prevention, and treatment. Those news stories are aggregated from all over the Internet, and they are updated daily. You can read the news article on your phone, and even share stories with friends on social networks such as Facebook.
